I’m an Austrian designer and researcher based in Scotland, currently finishing my MSc in Design & Digital Media at the University of Edinburgh.
My passion lies in crafting thoughtful artefacts and experiences. I’m especially interested in accessible communication design for culture and science, human-computer interaction, and ethical design.
While a lot of creative work nowadays is digital, I do love the feeling of holding a design I made in my own hands. I have gained a solid foundation in print preparation for a wide variety of use cases, taking care to reach the target audience and follow accessibility and brand guidelines.
Whether it's icons, presentations, signage or infographics, I've gained experience in many areas relating to 2D design. Through my education and multiple years of work in the cultural, entertainment, finance and tech sectors, I've built a broad knowledge base through a wide variety of design projects.
Through multiple years of experience in UX and UI design for both web and app projects, I've been able to work in fast-paced, interdisciplinary teams and on my own. I have worked with developers and stakeholders to see projects through from idea stage to deployment.
Bringing together design elements, research and aesthetic vision into a cohesive branding suite is a process I enjoy every time. In my experience, good branding always starts with a solid concept and requires honest communication.
Through user interviews and desk research, I've helped shape product decisions and learnt to use research to support design choices in front of stakeholders.
